The Workshop is a network for faith-integrated leaders who own, build, or run their businesses. It’s a quarterly breakfast designed to help them connect with peers, learn from each other, and lead with Christ for the sake of their ventures, employees, and stakeholders.
Our next breakfast will be Friday, November 13, at the Denver Institute office (Tech Center). Our CEO Ross Chapman will have an honest conversation with John Passonen about the leadership joys and crucible of co-founding and leading Maxwell. He’ll talk about the pressures and challenges, and how he handled them as a CEO committed deeply to his own spiritual formation and to excellence in the company.
We’ll also be sharing information about a 6-week discussion group we’re hosting for founders this spring with Praxis. The Praxis Course is a guided experience designed to awaken your redemptive imagination—the capacity to see your work, your relationships, and your everyday life as part of God’s renewing work in the world—and equip you to act boldly out of love and sacrifice. After the Workshop breakfast gathering, stay a while! We’re opening the Denver Institute offices to you all for coworking. We’ll provide the drinks, snacks, WiFi, whiteboards, and screen sharing. Feel free to work, take calls, host small meetings, or connect with other Workshop attendees to talk through issues in your ventures. We’ll have private and public spaces available all day!
